About UrbanPlanCore
UrbanPlanCore is an e-learning platform about contemporary planning practices and urban design. We teach how cities work, evolve, and can be built to meet human needs. Our courses offer both planning theory and real-world analysis to help you learn to apply modern design thinking and understand how the urban systems function in practice.
What We Do
We teach city planning by bringing together all the different systems that make up a city, including transport, housing, infrastructure, public space, and more. We are aiming for accessibility, even for those just starting out and wanting to learn about how cities actually work.
Key Focus Areas
Urban planning requires an understanding of how systems relate to and impact one another. Before we get to the specifics of designing or evaluating a city, we have to be able to conceptualize the system at large. To be functional, cities must have the right structure, flow, spaces, and sustainability.
